So I thought this is something that I must share on my blog.

Even I thought a person who is just starting out or is a beginner and he sets up a website or blog to write then he must know where he should place social sharing icons on the website or blog.

Yes, in listening it sounds simple but believe me this is something that you must pay attention. Right!

So let’s start!

As you know Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Instagram and Pinterest are some of the most popular social platforms.

And you may be agree with me that out of above said 6 social media platforms, on one or two above said social platforms you may spend most of the time of your life just to check your post status who likes or comments on your post.

Or even in some cases we go to these platforms to check the status of girl friend or boy friend status.

Further you can also say that you go to social media platforms just to upload your videos or photos of your trips.

Furthermore, there may be a time where you went to a website or blog.

And you read the contents on this website or blog.

Then you found it valuable or entertaining or educational contents and then what you did?

You shared it on one of above said social media platforms.

Isn’t the case? Isn’t it true?

Ok! Whatever the case!

Actually what happens, whosoever visits on the website then he or she doesn’t find something of valuable or entertaining in nature except the information about business, product and services.

As you know, people are more likely to share the stuff which is educational, humor, or anything entertaining in nature.

So, home page and contact page on your website are not the place where you should place your social sharing icons unless you have something of great value, entertaining and educational contents. Right!

2. Educational, Humor And Entertaining Page

What I mean by Educational, Humor or Entertaining Page?

My mean is that if you have pages on your website that have something Educational, Humour or Entertaining contents then you should consider placing social sharing icons on them.

Or if you have a blog where you write blog post about your products, services or something Educational, Humour or Entertaining in nature then you should also consider placing social sharing icons here.

Important to note here is that when you place social sharing icons on the blog post then make sure you put them right above the content of the post. See below the screenshot.

Further you should also place social sharing icons below the content of the post. You can see the screenshots below.

Even in some cases, you can place social sharing icons that scroll with your visitors because it will cause more shares. Below you can see the example of this.
