Again, I would say that somewhere my mind and heart, both were not fully prepared to get this book.
As you know I had to pay $7.95 which was a big amount for me at that time because I was jobless.
Then, finally, I decided to read this book and I tried to get this free dotcom secrets book.
So, I attempted to get this book by swiping my credit card only one time.
But due to some reason it couldn’t work.

The first chapter of this book starts from a concept called “The Secret Formula”.
Actually, the Secret Formula consists of four main things.

Let I explain about this in detail.
The idea behind the Secret Formula is that before building any sales funnel, you need to clearly understand or you can say you need to clearly identify who is your Dream Client?
Where can you find them?
What bait you will use to attract them?
And finally what result do you want to give them?
So here you have to find out everything about your dream client.
First how they (dream client) look?
What are they passion about?
What are their goals, dreams and desires? Got it!
Second where you can find them?
Whether they are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, Snapchat?
Or any other online place you can think of.
Third, what bait will you use to attract them?
Your bait could be a physical book, CD, DVD, or an Audio recording etc.
It can be anything that your dream customer would pay attention to and want.
Fourth, what result do you want to give them?
When you know what bait you’re going to use to attract your dream client, the last question is what Result do you want to give them?
Here, the whole idea is what’s the best possible way that you can serve your dream client.
Just imagine that your clients could pay you anything to get a desired result.
So then, what would you do to help guarantee their success?
Where would you lead them?
What does that place look like?
Keep that place in your mind; it’s the pinnacle of success for your clients.

The Value Ladder

A continuity program where you continue paying on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis until you decide to cancel the program.
So, now in this example, you can see a perfect Value Ladder with continuity program.
From A Ladder To A Funnel
After knowing The Secret Formula and Value Ladder then you need to bridge the gap between a Value Ladder and a Sales Funnel.
A sales funnel is a sales process where you attract your dream clients to your website by showing ads while offering your bait (free offer).
And then you convert them into customers by selling your products or services at the front-end, middle and back-end of your funnel.
In other words, a sales funnel is just the online process you take someone through to get them to ascend through the different levels of your Value Ladder.
Basically, in a sales funnel you need different-2 range of offers.
So instead of trying to convince someone to buy the most expensive offering right away, you need to build a funnel that will help you to do two things:
Provide value to each customer at the unique level of service that he or she can afford.
Make Money and be profitable while identifying your dream clients who can afford your highest offer.
Overall idea here is that you take your dream client from a Value Ladder to your Sales funnel. Ok!
How to find your Dream Customers?
This part of first section teaches you how to find your dream customers.
And you might have seen that most of the marketers get stuck to figure out where those dream clients are?
And how to get them to visit their websites?
So, to find your Dream Customers you need to first understand the concept of “Congregations”.
In online marketing congregation means you need to find out where your target market hang out with similar belief, culture and values.
Here, you have to answer these 3 questions.
Who is your target market?
Where is your target market congregating?
How can you get a customer to leave the congregation and check out your page?
You have to know your target market inside and out.
You need to know what their pains and passions?
Where do they spend their most of time?
What email newsletters, they might subscribe to?
What blogs do they read?
Which Facebook groups are they part of?
Are they on Facebook or do they prefer Instagram?
What keywords are they searching on Google?
What books are they buying on Amazon?
And by answering to above said questions, you will be able to develop a clear picture of where your ideal clients are directing their attention.
Finally you need to find how you can divert attention away from what your prospect is currently doing?
Mean to say, you have to interrupt potential customers long enough for them to click on your ad and visit your website.

Actually these are my notes that I noted down from 2 sections of the DotCom Secrets book.
There are lots of takeaways from all sections of the book.
But I will mention some of them. Ok!
1. Traffic and Conversion is not a problem, more often it’s a funnel problem.
2. Ultimately, the business that can spend the most to acquire a customer wins.
3. The difference between a ten thousand dollar website and a ten million dollar company was all of the things happening after a buyer came into the initial funnel.
4. Focus on strategies and concepts that will remain the same even when technology changes.
5. Who do I actually want to work with?
6. Your bait has to match what your dream clients want.
7. A business is Not about product and services. A business is about what result you can get for your clients.
Once you and your customer understand that concepts, then price is no longer a barrier.
8. Value Ladder is the first thing that you have to build out before you can start working on any sales funnel.
9. Serve your customers in the highest way possible.
10. Provide insane amounts of value at each step of Value Ladder, so your clients naturally want to ascend, get more value and pay you more money.
11. People usually wait until they’re in great pain before they’ll come in for an adjustment.
12. The only limit to your value offerings is your imagination. Keep thinking of higher and higher levels of service, and you can keep charging more and more money.
13. There’s always something you can offer.
14. Often times companies have a frontend product but nothing more to sell on the backend.
15. There are congregations for everything you can dream up from antiques buyers to zipper collectors.
16. Consumers expect and demand that your advertising be extremely relevant to them.
17. Consumers want and expect messaging that speaks directly to them, or they will likely ignore you.
18. To create hyper-targeted messages, you have to know your target market inside and out.
19. As an entrepreneur one of primary jobs is to identify where the veins of gold are located.
20. Your one and only goal is to own all the traffic you can. That is how you grow your list and increase sales.
21. Traffic you own is the best kind of traffic. It’s your email list, your followers, readers, customers etc.
22. The bigger your list, the more money you make.
23. You control the traffic when you have the ability to tell it where to go.
24. What do you do with your potential customers after they join your email list?
25. It’s about the persona, you’re sharing with your audience and how you communicate with your list.
26. An Attractive Character is a persona that attracts clients or customers and helps you build your following to eventually make sales.
27. Movies use Attractive Character.
28. If your customer can relate to where you came from, then they will want to follow you to where you are now. If they don’t see the backstory, potential customers won’t follow you or listen to you.
29. If you’re selling a weight loss product, you want to talk about a weight-loss backstory.
30. Pre-sell pages educate the visitor before they land on your sales page.
