Once you’ve found an opportunity to create value, the next step is to actually go ahead and create the value.

This can be done in a variety of ways.

The best way to find out how to do this for yourself is to take inventory of your skills and experiences.

So if you’re a designer and your goal is to help dentists get more patients, designing better websites that are more likely to attract customers may work for you.

What if you have no marketable skills?

Well, you’re in luck young padawan because — unlike looks — you’re not stuck with the ones that you are given at birth. You can always learn new ones.

And in my opinion, digital marketing skills are some of the most useful skills when it comes to generating value.

Learning Facebook ads is a great place to start because you can advertise almost anything to anyone through Facebook ads.

How much money you make is largely dependent on how much value you create.

So you always want to be on the lookout for better ways to create that value.

This may come in form of new skills you learn and apply or employees you hire to help you out.

3. Capture Value

If you’re goal is to run a charity, you can stop at step #2.

But if you want to make 7 figures, you better listen up.

You want to make sure that you are capturing the value you create by being compensated in the form of money.

This may sound too simplistic. But the way you capture value can have a big impact on your earnings.

How are you charging? Per lead? Per project? Per month?

You have to try out and see what maximizes the value you can capture. Right!
