What Is Facebook Tracking Pixel?
In simple, Facebook Tracking Pixel is a section of Code. That’s it!
It’s just a section of HTML or Java Script code.
It is basically a Google Analytics but for Facebook.
In other words, Facebook Pixel is simply a piece of code that you put on your website that allows Facebook to track traffic and actions and things like that on your website.
And when you do that it allows Facebook to optimize and also help you to track your ad campaigns.
So you install Facebook Pixel exactly the same way as you install Google Analytics.
And that you install on the head section i.e. <head> </head> of your website.
It doesn’t matter which website you’re gonna use whether it’s a WordPress or any other, there is always gonna be a head section i.e. <head> </head> on every website.
And this head section is usually on the header file of the website and the head section i.e. <head> </head>, you can view on all pages of your website. That’s it.
Now you know what is Facebook Pixel.
Moving further and let’s know how to create Facebook Pixel.
How To Create Facebook Pixel?
Just to create your Facebook pixel, first create your Ad account with Facebook.
Then go to your Ads Manager section and find the Tab that says Pixels.
Click on the Pixels Tab and then you will be taken to the next page.
And on the next page, select Last 7 Days and Facebook Pixels and then find the tab that says Set Up Pixel and click on that and then you will be taken to next page.
Note: From the section Last 7 Days, you can also choose the option such as Yesterday, 14 Days, 30 Days etc. So its up to you. Ok!
As in the above said example I have chosen Last 7 Days. So what I mean by that.
Actually by selecting Last 7 days mean is, Facebook will track the activities of your visitors on your website for Last 7 days.
Further, if you select 14 Days then it will track the activities of your visitors on your website for last 14 Days. Got it!
Moving further…
On the next page i.e. Choose Intallation Option, click on the section which says Copy and Paste the Code.
After clicking on Copy and Paste the Code section, you will find down blow your Facebook Pixel code.
Just copy these Facebook Pixel Code and paste it into header section of your website.
Now, you might be thinking how to do that!

One thing to note that here I will show you two places where you can install your Facebook Pixel.
First I will show you how to install Facebook Pixel in WordPress Website or Blog.
And second I will show you how to install Facebook Pixel on Clickfunnels if you’re a clickfunnels users. Right!

Let’s know how to install it!
How To Install Facebook Pixels In WordPress Website Or Blog?
So just to install Facebook Pixels on your WordPress website or blog, first login into your wordpress site or blog.
And then on the left hand side of your wordpress dashboard find the tab that says Appearance.
Click on Appearance Tab. As you can see below there is Theme Options Tab.
Click on Them Options tab and then you will be taken to next page.
And on the next page click on General Settings tab.
And from General Settings scroll down to the bottom and find the section which says Header Code.
Just paste your Facebook Pixel code in this section and click the button that says Save Changes.
That’s it for WordPress website or blog.
Note:- As I am using Premium them so in Appearance section I found the tab that says Them Options.
So if you’re using Free theme then from Appearance section you will find the tab theme Editor and after clicking on Editor section, find head section i.e. <head> and paste your Facebook Pixel just below </head> section. Ok!
Now let’s move further……..
How To Install Facebook Pixel On Clickfunnels?
This section is only for those who are using Clickfunnels. Ok!
So just to install your Facebook Pixel on Clickfunnels, first login into your Clickfunnels account.
And then find your funnels to which you want to Install your Facebook Pixels.
As you can see below, in my case I have chosen my funnel to which I want to Install Facebook Pixel and this funnel name is Copy of Expert.
Now click on small Gear button on the right hand side of your funnel.
After clicking on small Gear button, you will be taken to the next page.
And on the next page, find the Setting Tab on the top corner of right hand side of you.
Then click on Setting Tab.
Next scroll down to the bottom and there you will find the section called Header Tracking Code.
Ok now, paste your Facebook Pixel into Header Tracking Code section and then click on the button which says Save and Update Settings.
That’s it. You made it.
Now just to install Facebook Pixel on your website or landing page, give it a 15 to 20 minutes time to add to your website. Ok!

How Facebook Pixel Works?
Actually, Facebook Pixel Helper works in the background just to automatically review the websites for code that looks like the Facebook Pixel.
When Facebook Pixel has been installed to a website then the </> icon in your browser turns blue and a small badge will appear indicating the number of pixels found on the page.
For example I have copied my domain name i.e. afunnelexpert.com/expert-secrets for the funnel i.e. Copy of Expert.
And I have pasted it into my Chorme browser.
As you can see below in the screenshot on the top right hand side there is </> icon and it has been turned blue.
On the contrary, if the icon does not turn blue then there are is no Facebook pixels installed on the current page which is showing on your browser.
Further, if you click the </> icon and then a small popup will appear showing you the information for debugging your pixel and the data tracked by the pixel.
Important To Note: Just to use the Facebook Pixel Helper first you have to make sure that you have the Chrome Web Browser installed on your computer.
Next, using the Chrome browser you can install the Pixel Helper from the Chrome Store.
Once the Pixel Helper is installed a small icon </> will appear next to your address bar.
